I visited a nursery for a Dinosaur themed morning of storytelling and yoga.

As they arrived the children looked at replica fossils – dinosaur footprints, teeth and claws!

We began with some dinosaur yoga to help us warm our bodies and calm our minds for the story ahead.

Then we heard a short action story which was a dinosaur adaptation of the Little Red Hen. Our story featured a T-Rex with tiny arms, a brontosaurus with a long neck, a triceratops with spiky head and a stegosaurus with a long tail. Who will help stegosaurus to make chocolate from cocoa beans?

The children watched a short rhyming story acted out with Dino shadow puppets.

We finished by listening to a Dinosaur song and stomping around the room dancing like dinosaurs.
